Well, I was able to venture up to the Cleveland Zoo this past Saturday with my fam as well as some good friends. I found out ahead of time that this Zoo was having a photo contest as well. I snapped off some 700 pictures in between the torrential downpour we experienced during the lunch hour.
Because of the sheer mass of pictures, I enlisted the help of my beautiful sidekick. Though the process was grueling, we narrowed the field down to 16 choices. I would compare the process to an Olympic trial of sorts. A group would be gone through and the top 1 or 2 were chosen to go on to the next round. You get the picture. (HA! I known...bad pun)
So adjust your eyes, crack your knuckles, and leave your comment, including the number next to the picture, on which one you like out of this group. The winners from this post will take on the winners of the second group, which will be posted in the next couple of days.

ok so this is your wife leaving my official comment I like #1. You have an amazing talent:)
Out of these, Melissa and I are going with #1. I would still like to see an action shot. I think you'd have a better shot at the contest if you had a bear on it's hind legs or a monkey flying through the air or something like that. Nice work though.
